ASSHOLE OF THE YEAR: Francisco DeFlaviis, Animal Abuse Acomplice CROOKED JUROR who probably took a pay off or sexual favors from ANDREA PEYSER

The lone juror who isn't convinced that cat killer Joseph Petcka is guilty also isn't talking because he is a coward who is possibly guilty of being bribed

Francisco DeFlaviis, 32, called the cops several times Saturday when reporters tried to ask him about jury deliberations.

The case against Petcka ended in a mistrial Friday after DeFlaviis argued to other jurors that he wasn't convinced Petcka killed his ex-girlfriend's cat on purpose.

"Respect my privacy," DeFlaviis said as he walked into his upper West Side apartment building, which doesn't allow pets. "I have nothing to say. No comment."

But People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals had plenty to say about the deadlocked jury. "We are disappointed that the trial ended without a verdict," said Stephanie Bell of PETA. "We are hoping to see a retrial. ... Research shows that people who get away with violent acts toward animals usually don't stop there."

Neighbors said they didn't understand why DeFlaviis held out.

"He should have caved in," said saleswoman Zophia Sopinsky, 44. "He wasted a lot of time holding out. I guess he doesn't care about animals."

"I guess he stood for what he believed is right, but it is bizarre," said 21-year-old student Maya Schwartz.

I hope his neighbors realized what an idiotic and heartless person he is and ask him to move out. I would never want his ******* as a neighbor.

reason above all doesn't get it, it isn't only about a cat which you state dismissively in all your other posting. it is about the cruelty involved. this man beat a defenseless animal to death. He is sick and it is no surprise that he abuses women. This man is a coward and I hope the ADA retry him. That sole juror is a weasel. 11 reasonable jurors found him guilty but this one juror dump on the case. It is not rocket science. God almighty, a 200 pound against a 7 pound declawed cat and he states it was self-defense. This is ridiculous.

I really think reason above all is either Francisco DeFlaviis or a friend of his. If you look at his posting you will agree. he want to divert the fault from Francisco DeFlaviis to the ADA, prosecutor. Really, 11 jurors found him guilty but his man held out for his own reasons and not based on the evidence.

This idiot is obviously heartless, and someone who doesn't care about animals. He probably thought of Norman as a pair of shoes, not a living creature. No one in their right mind could possibly believe from the evidence that this was self-defense, or that there was any reasonable doubt that the slimeball meant to murder Norman. He couldn't doubt that it was no accident. He just didn't care. I'm glad he's not my neighbor. Wonder how he feels knowing now that this murderer caused the partial amputation of an ex-girlfriend's fingers? Or would he find an excuse for that, too. They need to retry Petcka and put him in jail. Norman deserves justice: this juror needs to have his head examined and his heart replaced.

Highly likely he has no respect for life, period. If he's proud of his stance, let him be proud enough to declare it. Maybe his 15 minutes of fame is important to him, no matter how he gets it.Kind of like Petcka.Single women out there, you can guess what you'd be in for dating Petcka.
